Tools For Equitable Acquisitions in Manufacturing, or TEAM (2022—) is a partnership between Concerned Capital, Urban Manufacturing Alliance, and Common Future and also part of a community of practice at Prosperity Now. Through this partnership, we build deeper technical expertise for Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) around ownership and financing business transitions. The goal is to support CDFIs in helping businesses foster opportunities for local business preservation and high-wage job retention, while also transitioning more existing businesses to BIPOC ownership.
